Objectives

  • Creation and ageing of test systems to investigate specific alterations of constituent materials of a composite objects.
  • Understanding of early stages alteration, using analytical techniques merged with RTI, to prevent possible deterioration ensure long-term preservation.
  • ML and DL multi-modal & multi-scale data analysis; 4) Conservation strategy and implementation on case study (CS2).

Goals

  • Test systems simulating altered composite artefacts, development of a dedicated optimised acquisition methodology using RTI dome.
  • Optimisation of a protocol through multimodal and multiscale approaches.
  • Definition of a conservation strategy with practitioners.
  • On-site validation and demonstration.
