Objectives
- Evaluate the state-of-the-art of 2D mapping on 3D surface algorithms at several scales (nm to cm).
- Automate position tracking during acquisition of multiscale 2D chemical and optical images (UV, IR).
- Visualize multilayer information of the surface, subsurface (500micrometer) and inside of the object.
- Perform data fusion and analysis for conservation state description and prediction.
Goals
- A HDT, high-fidelity, metrologically precise dataset that serves as the foundation for subsequent scientific and archaeological analyses.
- A tool targeted to conservators, and researchers with an interactive, scientifically faithful representation for analysis, monitoring, and dissemination of the object.
